Quinta das Oliveiras is located in Luz, Lagos, and emerges from the dream of creating a place of reference in the owner’s life, the “Home” feeling.
Arnaldo Ribeiro carefully designed in detail a garden that fulfilled the needs for a leisure place associated with the taste and highly wishes of having spaced approached to nature and highlighted with the use of local materials and vegetation attached with a strong passion for grasses.
With vast planting areas the colors and textures float integrated within different areas of the garden among easy accesses accordingly to the needs and intentions.
A lawn area was planned near the pool and front side of the house taking advantage of the amazing sea view. The access for people or vehicles permits a comfortable and peaceful passage for the family and different zones for leisure and fun where created smartly taking advantage of the natural morphology of the terrain and existing tree vegetation.
The garden is perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape and is regulated by its sea proximity as well as the predominance of the north winds where vegetation, over the years, adapts to the ideal conditions of preservation and resilience.
